Stuff I Love
Simplii Financial: Tired of paying monthly fees for chequing accounts and paper cheques but still want easy access to bank machines at no cost? Simplii Financial allows unlimited bank machine transactions at CIBC bank machines and no cost banking.
WealthSimple Robo-Advisor: As they say, it’s “Investing on autopilot”. Ideal for beginners who want to get into investing and build a hands-off portfolio of low-cost globally diversified funds, or for those that just prefer to do other things than worry about their investments.
WealthSimple Trade: Trade stocks at no cost / zero commission. Great if you want to buy a small amount of shares in companies on a regular basis.
Addy: This platform enables investors who don’t want the hassle of being a landlord and/or who can’t afford pricey residential real estate, to gain access to real estate investing for as little as a $25 annual membership (something Addy recently added to their platform in terms of an upfront membership fee – note there are properties you can access without paying the membership fee but you’ll have access to fewer properties to invest in). Wealthica: A secure way to track all your investments and progress in one place, including net worth, dividend, distribution (from Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS) for example), and interest income, etc. They also produce handy visuals so you track your financial independence goals in a visual way. (I use Wealthica everyday and I highly recommend it for my Canadian friends/readers. Use my promo code: WDDividendDaddy10 and get 10% off the yearly premium subscription).
Great stuff Daddy.
some very chunky payments in there.
curious why did u sell ntr? I keep debating buying more actually.
keep it up!
cheers
I like em’ chunky! Thanks for taking a read here.
I bought my chunk of $NTR low and it was up quite a bit but has quite the tumultuous roller coaster life of being up and down. I took the proceeds and put it into beefing my position in $BMO – a pretty stable dividend payer at $1.47 per share. As I near early retirement, I prefer cash flow and simplicity.
Was I right to sell? Who knows. But I know I am also OK owning more $BMO.
